France announced in tracing the son of the former head of IAAF – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, January 14 – R-Sport. The Government announced in the international wanted list through Interpol son of the former head of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Lamine Diack – Pope Massata Diack – on suspicion of corruption and money laundering, according to the AP.

The request was filed last month.

Lamine Diack and his lawyer Habib Cisse in November were arrested on suspicion of corruption. They are suspected of receiving bribes from the Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF) for concealing doping cases Russian athletes. According to media reports, the Pope Massata Diack is considered the center of the corruption that prevailed in the leadership IAAF. Prosecutors France also believes that the son Diack was actively involved in the criminal schemes of the father.
