As already reported, “b”, the RAF took before enrollment in the organization of the presidential election Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko, whose candidacy has already been approved in the Kremlin, and the vice-speaker of the State Duma, Igor Lebedev. Elections will be held on September 2 in the framework of a special conference of the RFU.

The new president will be elected by the RAF in the short term, because according to the law within six months after the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, which will be held in August 2016, in all federations representing summer sports, new elections must be held leaders.
