CSKA win rehearsed – Kommersant

Russian Premier League

Yesterday the match in Samara began the second round Russian Championship. Returning to the Premier League, “Wings of the Soviets” took one of the favorites for the championship – CSKA. Tormented the entire first half and part of the second, CSKA still put the squeeze on uncompromising opponent – 2: 0.

CSKA started the second round before the other leaders, because on Tuesday the army team will start in European competition – the home match of the third qualifying round of the Champions League against the Prague “Sparta”. In this sense, “Wings of the Soviets” were very suitable opponent to test readiness of CSKA. Samartsev chose quite closed the tactics to which very likely resort in Moscow and the Czechs. However, despite the alignment with five defenders, “Wings” actively began the meeting, mainly building their attack through the flanks, where they were persistently backs. One of these attacks almost turned bare Stanislav Dragun gave excellent creeping transfer of Alan Chochiev, through whom “Wings” was built most of the attacks, but the nimble midfielder kick from outside the penalty hit the crossbar.

Apart from this trouble, the army team waited quietly emotional onslaught rival and by the middle of the first half, took possession of the ball and territory. However, in contrast to the bright first round match against the “Rubin” yesterday CSKA with enormous difficulty overcame skillfully placed Samartsev defensive redoubts. The only CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa, well using the free space, not too cozy feel as a central striker, whose main duty – to cling to the balls. For the entire first half, he once fished the long ball (otherwise penetrate into the penalty, “Wings” was incredibly difficult), but unsuccessfully handled the ball and shot on goal from already uncomfortable situation. Leaving on a break, one of the leaders CSKA Alan Dzagoev threw quite self-critical words: “With this game just do not win.”

CSKA coach Leonid Slutsky, on whose candidacy as coach of Russia actively hints sports minister Vitaly Mutko found himself in a difficult situation. He was required to change the game design team, but because of the new limits on foreign players the coach has been limited in the choice: on the CSKA was the minimum allowed – five – the number of Russians (“Wings”, by contrast, were the basis of only two legionary and those from Belarus).

However, the headache Leonid Slutsky delivered Zoran Tosic – with the new limit of the first candidate to replace CSKA. In the middle of the second half, when the permutation is already brewing, Serbian midfielder slipped the penalty of “Wings”, neatly played in “stenochku” Roman Eremenko got the ball back, put it exactly in the corner. And soon the army team to develop the success in achieving a prolonged attack of the right to a penalty, which prudently implemented Bibras Natcho. After this five-minute segment shock Leonid Slutsky just replaced Tosic – the game was made.
