Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko said the decision to FIFA president Joseph Blatter to resign was made under the pressure exerted on him to Congress organization.

Today, Blatter announced that he would resign at an extraordinary congress of the organization, which will be held in the period from December 2015 to March 2016.

The decision to retire will help to prevent a split in the organization, to combine football and finish the started reforms and carry out new ones.
