FIFA appease the Irish Football Association 5 million euros (5.6 million dollars) during the World Cup qualifying stage in 2010, to Dublin, did not submit to the Association in court.
It is reported by the press service of the association.
As noted in Dublin, the judges knew that qualifying match Ireland-France striker of the French national team Thierry Henry scored his hand, which is a gross violation of the rules of the game.
However, the French then credited the victory and FIFA paid “compensation” to the Irish, so that they did not file a complaint in court of what had legitimate reasons.
The current scandal around International Federation of Football Associations erupted on May 27 when Swiss police arrested at dawn in one of the luxury hotels in Zurich, seven senior football functionaries at the request of the United States. Those arrested are suspected of bribery and laundering millions of dollars.
