MOSCOW, August 30 – R-Sport. Two-time Olympic champion in the pole vault Russian Elena Isinbayeva entered the Athletes Commission of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) by a vote of athletes participating the World Cup in Beijing, the press service of IAAF.

Also in the Athletes’ Commission IAAF entered New Zealand putter Valerie Adams (834), the Qatari high jumper Motaz Essa Barsha (743), Japanese thrower Koji Murofusi hammer (536), Norwegian javelin thrower Andreas Thorkildsen (639) and Swede Christian Olsson (599), specializing in the triple jump. Mandates athletes will take effect from January 1, 2016.
World Championships in Athletics held in Beijing from 22 to 30 August.
