Daniil Kvyat played eight positions in the Belgian Grand Prix

The Russian pilot of the Red Bull Daniil Kvyat took fourth place race Belgian Grand Prix – the 11th stage of the world championship of Formula 1.

On the eve of qualifying Kvyat took only 12th place, but during the race was able to play just eight positions.

The victory at the Grand Prix of Belgium won the British pilot Mersedes double world champion Lewis Hamilton. For him, this success was the 39th of his career and sixth this season. Second place went to his German team-mate Nico Rosberg. Third was the Frenchman Romain Grosjean, who won for Lotus first podium this year.

Four-time world champion German Sebastian Vettel, who came in third position, of the bursting of the rear right wheel was forced at the last lap back to the pits. Risky tactics Ferrari with one pit stop was not justified.

In the overall standings Hamilton increased the gap between Rosberg by 28 points. Kvyat got up to seventh place, beating his partner on the Australian Red Bull Daniel Riccardo.

At the end of July at the previous stage of the world championship of Formula 1 in Hungary Kvyat finished second. This result was the best in the history of Russian motorsport. Previous record belonged to Vitaly Petrov, who was third at the Australian Grand Prix in 2011.

For Kvyat podium in Hungary became the first of his career in Formula 1. Previously, the best result was fourth place Russians, which he won this season at the Monaco Grand Prix.
