The Ethics Committee of FIFA has extended the suspension of all football activities Secretary General Jerome Valcke organization for another 45 days, the official website of the organization.
The new period of suspension will run from tomorrow.
Earlier, FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter and UEFA President Michel Platini suspended from football activities for eight years. Platini also fined 80,000 Swiss francs.
Blatter was accused of illegal transfer Platini two million Swiss francs for the work of FIFA from 1999 to 2002.
Valcke also suspected of involvement in corruption, the punishment can be even more serious – a lifelong ban from any football activities. FIFA Ethics Committee has prepared a report on possible violations of the Code of Ethics by Valcke. This report consists of more than one hundred pages.
At the meeting of the FIFA Executive Committee June 27, 2007 Valcke was confirmed as Secretary General of the organization. Since then, he has held the post unchallenged.
