Ex-president of the Football Federation of Costa Rica in the United States charged with 19 counts – SPORT – EXPRESS

The former president of the Football Federation of Costa Rica Eduardo Lee yesterday appeared before a court in New York and did not admit his guilt. Recall, the former FIFA officials, was arrested in Zurich in May, but agreed to the extradition to the United States, who are investigating the corruption scandal in FIFA, just this week. According to AFP , once Lee was taken to court where he was charged on 19 counts, including fraud, bribery and money laundering. For all items Lee pleaded not guilty. However, he refused to pay bail and will remain in prison until March 16, when the next hearing will be held.
