MOSCOW, January 13 – R-Sport. The Russian crew of the “KAMAZ-master” under the direction of Andrei Karginova ranked third on the ninth stage of the rally -reyda “Dakar” in the truck standings.
On Tuesday, at the end of the ninth stage crew Karginova conceded 16 minutes 4 seconds to the winner Dutchman Gerard de Roy at Iveco, who clocked 2 hours 41 minutes 20 seconds. Second place was taken by another representative of the Netherlands Ton van Genugten to Iveco (backlog – 3 minutes 59 seconds). Results of other crews of “KAMAZ-master”: 5. Eduard Nikolaev (+19.14) 10. Ayrat Mardeev (+29.28), 31. Dmitry Sotnikov (+2: 03.39).
In the overall standings after nine stages leading de Rooy, his time of 28 hours 30 minutes 46 seconds. The second is Nikolaev (lag – 27 minutes 12 seconds). On the third line of the Argentine Federico Villagra rose to Iveco (+41.24).
The competition car at this stage, Carlos Sainz was the best in the Peugeot – 2 hours 35 minutes 31 seconds. The second position the Dutchman Eric van Lon (Mini, +10 seconds), the third – Finn Mikko Hirvonen (Mini, +17 seconds). Russian Vladimir Vasilyev at Toyota (+45 minutes 35 seconds) turned out to be the 18th. In the general classification of the leaders came Sainz, followed by Stéphane Peterhansel (Peugeot, +7.03) and Qatari Nasser Al-Attiyah (Mini, +14.38), respectively. Vasilyev (1: 52.14) – 11 minutes.
In the motorcycle class stage was won by Australian Toby Price (KTM) – 2 hours 24 minutes 19 seconds. Second finished Argentine Kevin Benavides (Honda; +7.10), the third – the Slovak Stefan Svitko (KTM, +10.33). Price led the overall standings. On the second line located Svitko (lag – 24 minutes 47 seconds). The third is the Chilean Pablo Quintanilla (Husqvarna, +32.14).
In the quad class victory at the 9th stage of the celebrated Argentine Pablo Kopetti on Yamaha (3: 38.40). The second and third, respectively, were his fellow brothers Alejandro and Marcos Patronelli, who also serves on the Yamaha. They were behind the winner – 35 seconds and 1 minute 28 seconds, respectively. Russian Sergey Karjakin (Yamaha) has come to finish 8th (23 minutes 21 seconds).
In the overall standings leader Marcos Patronelli, second place is his brother with a lag of 1 minute 13 seconds, third place is occupied Peruvian Alexis Hernandez (Yamaha, +40 minutes, 9 seconds). Karjakin is a 5-m (1 hour 5 minutes 49 seconds).
