The Swiss prosecutor’s office also alleges that in September 2005, Blatter signed FIFA disadvantageous contract with the Caribbean Football Union. This organization then led by Jack Warner, the principal defendant in the scandal of bribes to FIFA.

The corruption trial began in late May 2015. American law enforcement officers accused of a number of senior FIFA officials of extortion and fraud. Seven people have been arrested in Switzerland at the request of the United States. The investigation alleges that from the beginning of the 1990s, the amount of corruption in the top leadership of FIFA amounted to $ 150 million.
