Lawyer: FIFA President Blatter will continue to challenge their dismissal – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, November 18 – R-Sport. President of the International Football Federation (FIFA) Joseph Blatter disappointed by the decision of the Appeals Committee and FIFA will continue to appeal against the decision on suspension from football activities, the lawyer said the Swiss, Richard Cullen, quoted by Reuters.

The Swiss Federal Office of Justice ( FOJ) September 25 opened a case against Blatter, who is suspected of having illegally transferred two million Swiss francs led by Michel Platini in 2011. The money allegedly transferred Platini for the execution of works in the period from January 1999 to June 2002. The Frenchman also said that the payment was made under the contract in accordance with the law. In early October, the committee of FIFA Ethics dismissed Blatter and Platini for 90 days from any activity related to football.

On Wednesday, the appeals committee of FIFA has rejected the complaint Blatter and Platini decision on their suspension from football activities.

Cullen also said that there is no evidence of irregularities in the transaction between Platini and FIFA.
