Club Continental Hockey League (KHL) SCA received the rights to use the name and image of Yuri Gagarin, after whom the trophy is named the CHL. This was reported on the official website of the team. Currently, the club started manufacturing line of products with the symbols of the SKA and the image of Yuri Gagarin. According to the vice-president of the SKA Roman Rotenberg, negotiations with the family of Yuri Gagarin took place a few years. He said that the family cosmonaut agreed only after making sure that the club refers to this project with great attention and respect. Last season SKA for the first time in its history, won the Gagarin Cup.
