Knockout and a half minutes – Russian boxer Alexander Povetkin won a Cuban Michael Perez – First Channel

Alexander Povetkin was the mandatory challenger for the world title of the WBC heavyweight champion. In Moscow, 35-year-old Russian boxer defeated Cuban Mike Perez by knockout in the first round. The battle lasted only one and a half minutes! Alexander got the right to compete for the world championship belt, which is owned by American Dionteyu Wilder.

Earlier in the same ring of Russian Grigory Drozd defended his title in the first heavyweight title by defeating Lukas Janika from Poland by technical knockout in the 9th round .
