FIFA – 2018: Another large-scale sports construction – All news Ulyanovsk

The agency “F-Sport” reports: The Russian government has completed the signing of all government contracts for the construction of stadiums for the World Cup in 2018.

On Friday, December 26, was signed recently an agreement governing the construction of the stadium in Rostov-on-Don. 2018 World Cup matches will be held in 11 cities across Russia on 12 stadiums. Two of them are ready – is “Opening Arena” (Moscow) and “Kazan Arena” is being renovated stadium “Luzhniki” in Moscow, “Central” in Ekaterinburg and “Fischt” in Sochi. In 2017, will be commissioned in the arena in St. Petersburg. Facilities in Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk and Rostov-on-Don will be built from scratch.

In this case the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the championship speaks about the budget deficit for 2015. Russian sports minister Vitaly Mutko said that the committee relies on donations from individuals. Russia won the right to host the World Cup in December 2010.
