Blatter promised to “fight” for the presidency of FIFA – RBC

The President of the International Football Federation (FIFA) Joseph Blatter in an interview with the Swiss publication Schweiz am Sonntag said it plans to “fight”, despite the fact that the ethics committee suspended him from his post.

He also noted that the ethics committee had forbidden him to speak to reporters about FIFA. Blatter said he was surprised by the ban, but said that the case of his “right” and he feels well.

In addition, according to law enforcement, in 2011, President Blatter has made improper payments to the head of UEFA in the amount of 2 million Swiss francs (about $ 2.1 million) for the work that the latter carried out in the period from 1999 to 2002.
