27-year-old told investigators that he was talking with a partner in the team of the movie on behalf of her childhood friend. According to the French press, Benzema mentioned this video in a conversation with Valbuena in early October, during a training session of the national team in Klerfontene before a friendly match against Armenia and Denmark.

After the reports of possible involvement of Karim Benzema to blackmail his lawyer, Sylvain Cormier told the newspaper Le Parisien, that the player did not participate in collusion and wants to clear his name.
