Republic of Ireland for the third time came in the final of the European Championship

Republic of Ireland was the 22nd finalist European Championship Cup in 2016. In the play-offs it is on aggregate beat the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Irish will play in the final of the European Championship for the third time. Earlier, in 1988 and 2012, they stopped at the stage of the group stage.
