The state prosecution has asked for a mixed martial arts fighter Aleksander Emelianenko, who is accused of rape, five years’ imprisonment and a fine of 60 thousand. Rub., Interfax reported with reference to the Simonovsky court. This position was voiced by the public prosecutor during the debate of the parties.

Lawyer Alexander Karabanov Tass reported that the prosecutor dropped the case in terms of “inducement to the use of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances”, referring to the negative results of the examination. For the rest, the prosecutor said Emelianenko proved guilty.

In addition, the athlete is accused of committing a sexual assault, kidnapping passports (Part 1 of Article 132 and Part 2 st.325 Criminal Code). According to investigators, on the night of March 3, 2014 in the apartment of one of the houses on Peresvetova Lane in Moscow Fedor she abused a woman who was cleaning his apartment. Then he stole her passport. Emelianenko pleaded not guilty.

Karabanov also said RAPS that during questioning in court Tuesday Emelianenko acknowledged the sex, but did not recognize violence. “In my opinion, it gives false evidence in order to avoid punishment. Karabanov Tass reported that on May 15 the court will act victims protection and the defendant himself. After that, the court retired to the deliberation room for sentencing. Case Emelianenko heard in closed session. The sportsman is in custody.

Alexander Emelianenko ─ younger brother Fedor – is one of the most famous representatives of Russian mixed martial arts. This is the second rape case in which there is the name of the controversial fighter.

This is not the first criminal case against the athlete. In August 2013 the police asked 23-year-old girl, and complained of violent actions on the part of the athlete. According to her, Fedor invited her birthday, raped and held in an apartment. The athlete also claimed that invited the girl to provide sexual services, but she began to extort money from him. In the end, she took a statement from the police.
