In Moscow, a battle for the title WBC Silver Heavyweight weight, which gives the status of the applicant for the world title WBA, the correspondent Vesti.kz. In the ring, he met 35-year-old Russian boxer Alexander Povetki n (29-1-0, 21 KOs) and 29-year-old Cuban Mike Perez (21-1-0, 13 KOs).
The fight lasted only fifteen minutes. Already in the first round Perez fell after hitting Povetkin, rose, but almost immediately was again sent to the canvas, and then the fight was finished.

In 2013, Klitschko Povetkin won a 12-round bout by unanimous decision.
