Russian national hockey team defeated the Norwegians in the opening match of the World Cup – RIA Novosti

Ostrava (Czech Republic), May 1 – R-Sport. The Russian national hockey team defeated Norway in the opening match of the World Cup, which takes place in the Czech Republic.

The meeting of group B, held Ostrava, ended with the score 6: 2 (4: 0, 2: 2, 0: 0) in favor of the Russians, which include those goals scored Vadim Shipachev (3rd minute), Artem Anisimov (4th), Danis Zaripov (16th), Viktor Tikhonov (17th), Maxim Chudinov (30th), and Artemy Panarin (35th). Norwegians double designed ex-striker Patrick Thoresen SKA St. Petersburg (21th and 27th).

The Russian national team before the opening match of the tournament said only 19 players – three goaltenders, seven defenders and nine attackers. This is done in order to gain the maximum use from North America in the face of Evgeni Malkin and Nikolai Kulemina, Vladimir Tarasenko and possibly Pavel Datsyuk and Alexander Ovechkin. However, because of this, in a match against Norway Oleg Znarka I had to limit ourselves to three units. It was logical to assume that in such a situation, the coaching staff will bet at the beginning of the meeting.

And in the first three minutes of waiting wholly justified. Account opened Shipachev, which put a stick under the roll Ilya Kovalchuk. Next Exit “one zero” after the transfer of the same Kovalchuk sold Anisimov. By the end of the period Zaripov and Tikhonov scored on a spectacular puck and seemed decided the outcome of the meeting long before the end.

The doubts could appear after two consecutive goals after the break Norwegians. Score, of course, Thoresen, who was born in the hearts of the “Viking” grain of hope. However, goals other members SCD Chudinov Panarin and returned the original goals difference and thus definitively deprived the third period of intrigue.

The Russian team the next match in the tournament to hold on May 3 rival team Oleg Znarka are Slovenes.
