French Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron won competitions in ice dancing at the world championships, taking place in Boston. The couple was in the lead after the short program, showed the best result in proizovolnoy – 118.17 points. The second place was taken by the Americans Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani, rounded out the top three of their compatriots Madison Chock and Evan Bates. The best of the Russians became Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov, who took the ninth position. Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin settled on the 11-th line.
