Martin Fourcade wins biathlon sprint at the World Cup in Ostersund – Kommersant

Two-time Olympic biathlon champion and winner of the Grand Crystal Globe Frenchman Martin Fourcade won the sprint at the World Cup in Ostersund Sweden. At a distance of 10 km the result was 24 minutes. 2 seconds. with two penalties. Second place went to the German Arnd Peiffer, the third – the Norwegian Ole Einar Bjoerndalen. Russian biathletes were not included in the top ten: Alex Slepov took 18th place, Eugene Garanichev – 27th, Anton Shipulin – 32nd, Dmitry Malyshko – 34th, Timofey Lapshin – 35th, Maxim Tsvetkov – 44th
