3:28 One of the arrested vice-presidents of FIFA agreed to the extradition to the United States – REGNUM

Zurich, Switzerland, December 8, 2015, 03:28 – REGNUM arrested in Switzerland on charges of corruption, vice-president of the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the head of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) Paraguayan Juan Angel Napout has waived its right to be heard by a Swiss court and agreed to the extradition to the United States.

According to and the law firm representing the interests of Juan Angel Napouta, sending officials to the US authorities may take place in the near future, reports Paraguayan edition of ABC .

Juan Angel Napout was among those arrested on December 3 in Zurich, Switzerland high-ranking officials of the International Federation. At the same time the president was arrested one more Vice-President of FIFA – President of the Confederation of Football in North and Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) Alfredo Javito . The arrests were initiated by the US Department of Justice.
