Medvedev Mutko allowed to run for president of the RFU
MOSCOW, July 15, RIA FederalPress. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has officially authorized the Minister of Sports Vitaly Mutko to run for president of the RFU.

In view of the situation in Russian football, and realizing the importance of training the Russian team for the World Cup, the Prime Minister authorized the Minister of Sports to participate in the election of the head of the RFU, “- said Medvedev’s press secretary Natalya Timakova,” Interfax ».
«FederalPress” recalls May 31 conference delegates RFU sacked president of the organization Nikolai Tolstoy. Acting head of the Russian Football Union Nikita Simonyan was appointed. Election of a new president of the RFU may be held in September.
The presidential election Football Association will be held on September 2 at the extraordinary conference of the organization.
