president of FC CSKA Evgeny Giner will have to apologize to the executive committee of the RFU for his harsh remarks against the head of the organization Nikolai Tolstoy, Interfax reported, citing the head of the Ethics Committee of the RFU Vladimir Lukin. Apologies Giner will have to bring to the next meeting of the Executive Committee of the RFU.

According to Lukin, Giner explained his remarks “emotional.” At the same time, according to “Sport-Express”, a member of the executive committee of the RAF offered Giner disqualify the entire first round of the championship of Russia 2014-2015 season. However, as noted by Lukin, the committee took into account the RFU Ethics “Giner great contribution to the development of Russian football” and did not seriously punish the president of CSKA.

Giner spoke out sharply against Tolstoy at the meeting of the Executive Committee July 30, 2014. Thus, the RFU indirectly confirmed the authenticity of the transcript, published on August 11, “Novaya Gazeta” (previously such evidence was not). In official documents the RAF does not say what kind of incorrect statements made president of CSKA.

At the meeting of the RFU, the contents of which hit the media, in addition to Giner and Tolstoy, was attended by the former Chairman of the Audit Chamber Sergei Stepashin, President of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin, the owner of FC “Anji” Suleiman Kerimov, owner of a chain of shops ” Magnet “and FC” Krasnodar “Sergey Galitsky.

During the meeting, football and state functionaries were discussing possible sanctions against Russia and members of the RAF in the case of football clubs permission from the Crimea to take part in competitions held under the auspices of the RFU. Among the possible sanctions, the meeting was called to deprive Russia the right to hold the World Cup in 2018 and the denial of the Russian clubs to participate in the draw of European club football. From the publication of the newspaper, it follows that Giner allegedly said that “football” sanctions will affect the business interests of some of the participants.

August 13 the head of the Football Federation of Ukraine Anatoliy Kon’kov sent a letter to FIFA President Joseph Blatter and UEFA President Michel Platini, with a request to impose sanctions against the RAF. Football organizations have not yet decided on the decision whether or not to impose any sanctions on Russian football, but UEFA has assured that “monitoring the situation and is in constant contact with both the national federations.”
