The Russians won three medals at the European Championships in Sochi

Over the weekend in Sochi ended Luge World Cup. The last stage of the World Cup and at the same time was the European Championship. Two final start, held on Sunday, the Russian team brought two medals.

Semen Pavlichenko became European champion and winner of the World Cup. In singles competition, he was the first to 0.232 seconds ahead of another Russian Alexander Peretyagina. Third place went to Felix Loch.

In the overall World Cup Paulichenka became only the thirteenth, and the best of the Russians were Stepan Fedorov and Alexander Peretyagin, share 8-9 places.

The winner of the World Cup was German Felix Loch.

In the team competition in Sochi Russian team took second place. First place in the team race the Germans occupied, the third – the Latvians. In the Russian team included Tatyana Ivanova, Semen Pavlichenko Alexander Denisov.

In the team competition in the overall World Cup team of Russia finished second.
