Alonso discharged from the hospital after a serious accident on the tests

McLaren driver Fernando Alonso was discharged from the hospital. He was taken to hospital after an accident in testing at Barcelona. Now his health is not threatened, and the Spaniard will start the first stage of the season, which will be held May 13-15 in Australia.

On the last day of testing at Barcelona Alonso at the speed of 240 km / h flew into the bump. At the scene of the accident rescuers arrived, who learned of the car driver. He was conscious, but still was sent to the hospital by helicopter, since such a procedure spelled out in the rules of FIA.

In the hospital, he underwent a full medical examination, including computed tomography and scanning using magnetic Resonance. The survey showed that the Spaniard is completely healthy. He stayed in the hospital for two days – the time it took to excretion of sedatives that Alonso received immediately after the accident.

Experts McLaren analyzed circumstances of the accident and concluded that the cause was a sharp gust of wind, because of which Alonso lost control. No fault in the car before the accident was found.

Alonso signed with McLaren in December last year. Before the Spaniard five years played for Ferrari.
